Job Description

JOB Title: CDL (Yard Jockey) + Forklift Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Yard Truck and Forklift Operator who holds a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and is certified to operate forklifts. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining efficient operations by moving trailers around our facility yard using a yard truck and loading/unloading trailers with a forklift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a yard truck to move trailers within the facility yard as needed.

  • Load and unload trucks using a forklift to support daily operational flow.

  • Safely position trailers to maximize space and accessibility in the yard.

  • Assist with organizing trailers and coordinating with warehouse staff to ensure timely movement of goods.

  • Perform basic maintenance and safety checks on the yard truck and forklift before each shift.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all facility and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Valid CDL with experience operating a yard truck.

  • Forklift certification with experience in loading/unloading trailers.
