Job Description
Connect has partnered with our client seeking an Inventory Manager.
Pay: DOE
Schedule: 1st shift
Location: Olive Branch, MS
Position Type: Contract to Perm
Position Scope:
Generate and communicate purchase orders to both domestic and international vendor partners.
Coordinate with vendor partners to ensure accurate delivery timelines and manage purchase orders.
Expedite open purchase orders when necessary to prevent stock shortages.
Regularly update vendor pricing files within the computer system.
Assess inventory levels to determine the need for additional purchases.
Manage inventory requirements across multiple branches and distribution centers.
Align inventory levels with sales targets and projected growth objectives.
Prepare inventory reports that provide a comprehensive overview of product lines from vendors.
Offer insights and recommendations to management for improving inventory management processes.
Update the ERP system with product-related details.
Work closely with the product management team to address issues related to sourcing, pricing, and quality of both new and existing products.
Perform additional tasks as needed.
Skills & Qualifications
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Education & Experience
4-8 years of experience as a buyer, purchaser, or inventory analyst.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
