Connect has partnered with our client seeking an Inventory Manager.

Schedule: 1st shift

Location:  Olive Branch, MS

Position Type: Contract to Perm 

Position Scope:  

• Generate and communicate purchase orders to both domestic and international vendor partners.

• Coordinate with vendor partners to ensure accurate delivery timelines and manage purchase orders.

• Expedite open purchase orders when necessary to prevent stock shortages.

• Regularly update vendor pricing files within the computer system.

• Assess inventory levels to determine the need for additional purchases.

• Manage inventory requirements across multiple branches and distribution centers.

• Align inventory levels with sales targets and projected growth objectives.

• Prepare inventory reports that provide a comprehensive overview of product lines from vendors.

• Offer insights and recommendations to management for improving inventory management processes.

• Update the ERP system with product-related details.

• Work closely with the product management team to address issues related to sourcing, pricing, and quality of both new and existing products.

• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Education & Experience

• 4-8 years of experience as a buyer, purchaser, or inventory analyst.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
