Connect is looking for a Process Improvement Supervisor for one our top clients!
Location: Memphis, TN
Pay: Depending on experience
Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00 am to 5pm
Responsibilities
• Monitor our current operations and determine more efficient production processes.
• Evaluate operation schedules, processes, specifications, and related information.
• Designing production processes that maximize space, efficiency and reduce waste.
• Developing and implementing process improvements and technological upgrades.
• Designing control systems to minimize costs and operation issues.
• Developing design and production standards in cooperation with management and user personnel.
• Ensures the compliance of health and safety laws in the workplace.
• Develop and execute health and safety plans, enforce policies, assess risks, and promote a culture of safety.
• Collaborate to create a safe work environment and minimize hazards to protect employees from occupational risks.
• Collaborate and give support on purchase orders, cost analyses, and estimated production costs.
• Designing the layout of facilities and determining personnel requirements.
• Support training staff for new processes and collaborate by providing instructions and manuals.
• Managing process documentation and preparing production reports.
• The Process Improvement Supervisor will also make sure the company complies with all industry standards for safety while meeting design standards and guidelines.
• Will work in a support role as needed on special projects.
Required Skills
• Knowledge of production processes, costs, quality control, raw materials and other methods for maximizing the efficient manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Advanced knowledge of machines and tools, their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.
• Ability to design and understand precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings and models.
• Knowledge of the ways various systems interact and how changes in operations, the environment and other conditions will affect outcomes.
• Proficiency in Excel
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Similar to Solidworks) - Process
• Work independently and with team members.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Communicate (verbally and in writing) effectively in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
• Troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Organizing and managing large volumes of work while meeting short deadlines.
• Documentation and organization skills.
