Job Title: Warehouse Worker – Tobacco Distribution

Job Summary: The Warehouse Worker is responsible for performing general warehouse duties, including receiving, storing, and shipping products, while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast- paced environment to meet the demands of tobacco distribution operations.

Key Responsibilities: Receiving and Storing: • Unload incoming shipments and verify accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips. • Inspect tobacco products for quality and report any damage or discrepancies. • Organize and store products in designated warehouse locations, maintaining proper rotation and storage conditions. Order Fulfillment: • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment accurately and efficiently. • Ensure all orders are labeled correctly and meet shipping requirements. • Load outgoing shipments onto delivery vehicles. Inventory Management: • Assist with inventory counts and audits to ensure accurate stock levels. • Notify supervisors of low stock levels or inventory discrepancies. • Maintain accurate records of product movements using warehouse management systems (WMS). Compliance and Safety: • Follow all local, state, and federal regulations related to the handling and distribution of tobacco products. • Adhere to warehouse safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and equipment. • Report any safety hazards or incidents to management immediately. Equipment Operation: • Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, in a safe and efficient manner. • Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues to supervisors.
