Lead Sorter
Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and efficient sorter to join our warehouse team. The sorter will be responsible for picking and preparing products for shipment according to customer orders. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• The associate will be translating work instructions to the rest of the team.
•RF scanner experience.
•The candidate will be packing/shipping car harnesses, making boxes,
putting labels and unpacking products.
• Attention to details.
• Reliable transportation attendance is important as Yazaki uses a point system.
•No missing days in the first 30 days.
•Constant movement
•able to stand multiple hours on feet.
•When boxes begin to accumulate, the associate may be asked to stack empty boxes on a manual pallet jack and walk them to the gate lord for disposal.
• The associate will be following the procedures according to the customer instructions, verify part numbers, labels on harnesses and labels on boxes and bins, and revise part number on detail report.
•Inspect all products to make sure they are in good condition for the customer.
•Make sure that all the parts and product have the same information as the shipping order.
•Sort the product according to the account and customer's petition.
•Make sure all shipping labels are in the right place on the shipping totes.
