Job Description

Warehouse Environment: Freezer, Frozen Areas

Location: South Plainfield
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-5pm, Sunday-Thursday 12pm-8pm
Pay: 1st shift $17-19/hr Depending on Experience, 2nd shift $18-20/hr Depending on Experience

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable Production Associate/Forklift Operator to support daily manufacturing and warehouse operations. This role involves operating machinery, assisting with production tasks, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate basic machinery and assist with routine maintenance.

  • Lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).

  • Stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.

  • Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and supervisors.

  • Ensure production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely.

  • Clean and maintain the department during downtime

  • Operate a sit-down forklift and electric pallet jack safely and efficiently.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience operating a sit-down forklift and electric pallet jack (required).

  • Able to work in a cold environment/freezer

  • Basic knowledge of machinery operation and maintenance.

  • Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and complete repetitive tasks.
