Job Description
Pay: $19/hr - 21/hr
Schedule:
- 1ST SHIFT // M-F 7am - 4pm + OT
- 2ND SHIFT // M-F 3:00pm - 12:00am + OT
Location: Memphis, TN
Position Type: Temp to Hire
Position Summary:
The Quality Control Inspector performs inspections, checks testing and sampling procedures for product manufacturing processes. Carries out packaging line, manufacturing inspections and sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials to ensure that company standards are met. Monitors critical equipment and instrumentation. Assists with validating or troubleshooting testing methods, including assays.
Essential Functions:
- Performs First Article inspections, final inspection and testing of key units, and inspects all labeling and packaging of finished products
- Ensures consistent application of quality procedures and processes necessary for successful and compliant inspection of product
- Inspects devices and identifies non-conforming material
- Cleans and inspects tray systems upon receipt from the field
- Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2+ years' experience in a regulated environment preferred
- 1+ years with different type of measurement tools.
- 1+ years with proficiency in ASME Y14.5M and blueprint reading
- High school diploma or equivalent required
