Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Clerk for a 2nd shift opportunity in Wharton, NJ. This position offers the potential for permanent employment based on performance and attendance.
Job Responsibilities:
Work closely with truck drivers during arrivals and departures.
Verify and document incoming and outgoing shipments.
Review shipping paperwork and ensure accuracy of all records.
Provide drivers with Bills of Lading (BOLs) and other required documentation.
Track and confirm driver arrivals and shipment status.
Maintain organized shipping and receiving records.
Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, drivers, and supervisors.
Follow company safety procedures and shipping guidelines.
Requirements:
Previous shipping and receiving experience required.
Experience working with Bills of Lading (BOLs) preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Must be willing to work overtime (OT) as needed.
